Nanith Radio FAQ
Answers to common questions about Nanith Radio, online radio streams, station availability, the Android app and the radio directory.
What is Nanith Radio?
Nanith Radio is an independent directory and player for publicly available third-party internet radio streams. It also publishes original background material about radio and provides information about related Nanith apps.
Does Nanith Radio own the stations?
No. Stations and their programming remain controlled by their respective broadcasters. Nanith Radio organises available public stream information and provides a player interface.
Why can a station stop working?
Internet radio addresses can change, servers can be temporarily offline and broadcasters can discontinue streams. The Nanith system checks and updates the catalogue, but availability can never be guaranteed continuously.
Is there an Android app?
Yes. Nanith Radio has an Android project designed for mobile listening, favourites, search and background playback. See the Android App page for current availability information.
Interactive station search and playback are available when JavaScript is enabled.
